I swear to God with most controversial topics, everyone and their Mother on particular sides are going to come up at least one with an argument against...whatever they're against, and it's going to have to do with the holocaust, and why this is so bad just like it.

Just stahp gaiz. Jesus.

Everything is now considered genocide. Everything. And even when people actually make good notes and compare it well I still want to slam my head against a wall.

And the sad thing is this is what people go to when they don't have anything else. Say you're arguing about abortion. You keep on with the 'it's their fucking body for fuck's sake, not your's, but your fat nose out of someone's life' and they're starting to lag, but then they come out yelling 'BUT IT'S WORSE THAN THE HOLOCAUST. ONLY 6 MILLION DIED THERE, TORTURED, GASSED, EXPERIMENTED ON, STARVED TO DEATH, AND SO FORTH, WHILE 34I3U2O548239723423 MILLION FETUS' ARE DYING BEFORE THEY'RE REALLY FEELING. KSAJFLKASDFSA. HOLOCAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST. HOLOCAAAAAAAAAUST. HOLOCAAAAAAAAAUST.'

I swear to God, as I said recently on another deviation, the murder of bugs is the next thing to be compared to the event. I frikking called it.

I would say to get to my corner for those who actually fucking use this and use it seriously, but that's starting to get filled.

So a punch to the uterus is my second option.

Oh god I remember at my school these Pro Lifers were comparing abortions to the holocaust and telling it too all of the students that were around them. I'm not Jewish but when I saw this it completely offended me, you are a complete brain dead fuck wad if you compare abortions too the holocaust those people suffered tremendously while a fetus doesn't know or feel shit.

No known genocide was worse than the Holocaust, so people should really think before making things seem identical to that. Especially since abortion isn't the killing of a living, breathing baby. It is still a freaking fetus in the process of development.

Here's a thought. How about we just compare cases of actual genocide to the Holocaust? Like what happened in Rwanda in 1994. Anywhere from 500,000 to 1,000,000 people called the Tutsis were murdered in just 100 days. That's was about 20% of the total country's population, which really says something because the Tutsis is/was at the time a minority in Rwanda. That qualifies as a holocaust.

Killing off species of animals?? That's horrible enough in its own right. But it is not the same thing as a holocaust or even a genocide.

Abortion?? That's debatable depending on your definition of when human life begins and what qualifies and all that. I don't think it's the same thing though. Esp. not during the first and most of the second trimesters. Because the fetuses are basically parasites then and CAN'T survive outside the womb.

Gay marriage is nowhere close to being a genocide. How? It doesn't cost anyone's life. All it does is let two people who love each other get married. Death of the sanctity of marriage? Doesn't count for two reasons:
1. That's a thing, and holocaust/genocide at most only applies to living things. It's limited to people though.
2. Even if you do want to classify it as an attack on the sanctity of marriage, it still doesn't make sense... at least for the western world. The sanctity of marriage has been been dead for years and its corpse has been violated multiple times, given all the adultery, spousal abuse, and divorce. Don't like 50% of marriages in western world end in divorce now? And what about all the abuse and cheating that ignores the importance of love and respect in marriage? Sometimes I wonder if the sanctity of marriage ever existed at all! People seemed to have cheated on their spouses since forever.
Personally I don't think God would want to prevent two people who really love each other from getting married anyways.

I had somebody tell me I had no rights to talk down to her because i'm a 'filthy animal murderer who should be hunted down and killed.' Then she said that "Sorry,but asking me to respect a meat-eater is like asking me to respect Hitler and enjoy the holocaust.Fucking nazi."

I hate it so much when people compare random stuff to the holocaust/some other tragedies. Thanks so much for this stamp XD
