:shrug: Well, it really is like this. Everything has to be overrated. I don't even think many people who throw it around even know what it means...like most people who throw around these sorts of terms.

A brief lesson: It's something that gets more credit than it's actually worth.

People put this to every.
Single.
Popular.
Thing.
Ever.

...but if you stop going 'OMFLDSKKJFASDEFDS IT'S SO BAD I HATE IT I HATE ALL THE FANS IT ALL SUCKS I HOPE THEY ALL DIE IT'S SO OVERRATED WHY THE FUCK DO YOU LIKE IITHEAJSKIFHDSAJFSD" and actually...look at it, some 'overrated' things are actually well done critically.

And in that sense they are not truly overrated if they are actually pretty decent in a critical fashion. :iconcutiesmileplz:

But no, really, calling things overrated is overrated. :U And I can proudly say that because that word itself is truly getting more hype over it than it deserves. :heart:

I only use the term "overrated" for things that have almost no haters period like Gurren Lagann (Although I've heard they exist) or FPS games. Series like Sonic the Hedgehog, My Little Pony, and Avatar, which have fans but a LOT of haters, I tend to consider UNDERrated.

I belive I said it on one of your other stamps. Overrated is the same thing as words like gay, butthurt, and autism. It lost it's meaning.

I swear people use the word because they have no intellegent way of saying "I don't like this."

Hilariously people with autism have been known to be very brilliant, they just lack social skills.

Also there are multiple forms of autism. Which one are you talking about?
