Inspiration Stamp, 100 Feet and Closing by endler Inspiration Stamp, 100 Feet and Closing by endler
This is going to be particularly big so ready yourselves, folks.

Many teens and young adults and the like start feeling something's off. Something just feels totally off with liking the opposite sex, or any, or just one, or being the sex they are now. They come to the conclusions that they are:

Homosexual
Asexual
Pansexual
Transgender
Gender Queer

They break themselves out of the confines of what people consider to be 'normalcy' and are reprimanded for it. Mostly by overly religious tards or their classmates who just simply don't understand. Or both.

But it's not wrong. No matter what a damned book says - so all you bible thumpers ready to whip it out can shove it back in - it's not wrong just following what your heart is telling you. If you feel like you love all genders or just one that happens to be the same as your own, it isn't bad. It isn't wrong. The people who say it is are asshats who don't know how to look past a book and see for themselves.

Wanting to be a different gender isn't wrong either. If you feel that your boobs and dick are just not a part of what you are, then rid of them. Ignore the bigots who constantly try to plague you with the claims of 'BUT IT'S SO WRONGEEEEEEEH'.

These people do not matter. If it's your friends saying this: they are damn well not good friends, and I can say that personally by a hell lot of experience where I was within a group and only managed to keep two friends within the fifteen or so after I came out.

All that matters is that you are following what your heart is telling you, and you're content with the sexuality or new gender that has come upon you. There is no need to feel any damned shame over it, you do not have to feel bad for wanting this as it's not truly hurting anyone, and if someone says it is...I refer you to the term 'asshat'.

This was my hopeful stamp of shedding a little light on that. It truly does pain me to see so many people who are ashamed of their sexuality because rampant religious jackasses won't leave them alone - especially those who are in the LGBT community but are also Christian. I feel so bad for these guys because they are hounded the most for 'NOT FOLLOWING CHRISTZZZ BAAAW DIDN'T YOU SEE THE HATE OF HOMOSEXUALITY IN THE BIBLE BAAAW YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW IT?!!?!@1111'.

You know, Christ-people, if you were truly Christians you would actually have that whole, you know, love thy neighbor accept anyone even if you believe their sinning thing that you guys so love to put in front of you despite how you do stuff like this.

In a nutshell: there is no need to ever, ever feel ashamed of who you are, my dear fellow people of the LGBT community. Never. No matter what anyone tries to spew your way, as long as you know your path, as long as you're sure of who you are, you should never feel any remorse about being in this community.

Done. Yeah, made this in hopes of hopefully making some people feel a bit...better. Ish. In the LGBT-on-DA group I'm hoping to get a bigger job than mere member. > < I've been through the stress of homophobia and would love to help anyone with any sexuality out with any doubts they're currently facing.

Does not the word of Christ tell us to love each other as we should love ourselves? In my experience, in order to love, one must respect the other first. Please respect that our views are unlike your own, and will most likely stay that way.

I'm a Christian and I support everyone's decisions no matter what the situation is.
God loves everyone for who they are, and nothing would change that.
I don't understand why some Christians get so worked up about it, it's pathetic. unu;

what I've noticed is this: That we've been manipulated as teens and adults that not being normal is a bad thing. but it's not Society just makes it look that way. There is nothing wrong with being different. There is nothing wrong with being normal either. As long as you are the person you want to be and are proud of it, then why does it matter?

Funny about those "bible thumpers". They have likely read that book a thousand times, and yet they may have misread it.
Honestly, I don't see why God would tell us to "follow our hearts", but if someone's heart points to someone of the same sex then automatically God says "Buddy, that's a no-no. You better not." A bit hypocritical, ironically, considering that hypocrisy is a big bad in Christianity.
Animals can and have been gay as well. Do they get punished? For an instinct that is a bit different?
Honestly, I don't see where being gay should even come into the bible. Maybe the guy that wrote it made a mistake or had homophobic opinions that he put in. Or maybe it got secretly changed over the centuries...

Ya ikr like people make it  a BIG deal about people being gay and there like "the bible says that being gay is an abomination"

But what makes me madder is the fact that being a homosexual is wrong is only mentioned ONCE IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE.  AND PEOPLE GIVE HOMOSEXUALS SUCH A HARD TIME WHEN IT'S ONLY; BEEN MENTIONED ONE MOTHER F*CKING TIME. LIEING AND ADULTERY AND MURDER HAVE BEEN IKN THE BIBLE SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MANY MORE TIMES THAN HOMOSEXUALITY HAS. AND WE COULD BE GIVING HOMOPHOBES A REALLY HARD TIME ABOUT IT TOO,  BUT WE'RE TOO NICE TO DO THAT.

My grandmother pretty much called all bisexuals sluts when I was in the car with her one day... I wonder if she would have said it again had I told her right there that I'm bi (and a virgin even, how could I be a slut??).

I finally told my mother earlier this year, and she doesn't see me any differently. It made me feel better.

A beautiful stamp, something about the font and the pastel rainbow colors make it seem softer and more comforting. That should be a thing, even though people think its bad to associate rainbows with the LGBT community, no one fusses about how purple represents support for autism research or yellow for the army, right? It's just what fits, its what this group of people chose as their representative color, there are people who take it a bit too far, I'm sure, but if you are able to be decent with your means of support, by all means. ^.^

I feel like soft pastel rainbow would support those people who are afraid to come out, and when you switch to the brighter colors, it means you are not afraid to show it anymore, nothing wrong with being afraid to show it, everyone's afraid of being denounced and teased in some form, so there's no shame in being afraid, but allow others to give you courage. <3

I can still remember when my parents told me and my sister that our uncle is gay, my response was pretty much "And... why is that such a big deal?" even though I was only about 13
Maybe it was because I was oblivious to what being gay was, but he was still the same person I knew and cared about, so why should this revelation affect me in any way? He's still my uncle, regardless of whether he's attracted to men or women

That's essentially what I took away from this life lesson: regardless of what sexuality they are or what gender they associate themself with, that person is still the same as they've always been and that's what matters the most

I agree with everything you've said here and the way in which it was said, forward but not confrontational and so on. Spent so long feeling bad about who I was until I realized this is me and this is the way I am and no sense in changing it or conforming and life has been better since. Its always nice to see others who are supportive as well :3 <3

So well said c:

I have to say, I don't feel quite as bad for coming out as bi-romantic lesbian. I've lately been really frightened because I'll be moving house soon and I plan on going back to school, with some people I know and others I don't, I pretty scared I'll be treated badly for being lesbain, but this has made me feel just that little bit more confident and brave ;u;
I'm not at all ashamed of who I am, I'm just scared of people mistreating me for something that wasn't even my choice.

That is also understandable - but I'm glad my stamp managed to lift your spirits, even if it was just a tad. ^ ^
Others...as I said in my overly long description, by now I don't care for what they say. Especially those whom are strangers...but I guess my best advice is to keep smiling, as cliche as that seems. The people who beat you down are looking for satisfaction, will inspect you to see how you're feeling and will soak up anything negative. To hold your head up high is the best, and to perhaps scope out those who maybe are gay as well, or who've gone through bullying and can help - or, perhaps, just people who are downright supportive; I'm sure every school must have a few really good souls in them~!

:happycry: you just brought tears to my eyes.

I will honestly admit that I am straight, and I don't think I'll ever be anything else, but I find it absolutely wonderful when people can find that 'difference' in themselves and can show it to the world. It's not a bad kind of different, it's a unique and beautiful part of who they are. All I can do is give them my respect for not being afraid to show who they are, and I want them to know that they should never EVER be ashamed for being 'abnormal' in their sexuality. Whatever those dickheads are saying about them, it isn't true in the LEAST. So basically, I support everything you're saying in this stamp.

I'm Christian (well, my religion is very close to Christianity) and even though our religion doesn't believe that these choices are wrong, I don't believe that. A different sexuality is NOT a choice. It's who someone is, it's a part of who they are, just like I stated earlier. I think we Christians need to show our love towards everyone, even if we aren't quite the same as them. They deserve to be whoever they want to be. And they shouldn't let any douchebags that are blind to that fact get them down.

My friend, I give you my love, and even my gratitude, for making this stamp. While I may not be gay or bi or anything like that, this stamp states the fact that I believe in with a deep passion, and this message needs to be spread to everyone.

So thank you. This was beautifully and brilliantly made :tighthug:

Goddammit, you have me pretty close to tears as well! ; u;

Thank you for all the support, and really you have no need to apologize over anything that you've written. I wish to God that more people who...well, had that God in their faith were more like you; still straight, still knowing that many parts of the religion says it's bad but knowing to look past that and into your own morals, not what everyone else is saying.

Thank you for the wonderful comment~! :iconletmehugyouplz:

At first I just figured "well I'm a straight guy so of course I need to just stay away as much as possible." then I dunno it finnaly occurred to me that maybe I wasn't so straight after all and then I pretty much had an epifany.

Yea I love it when people put it like that but I'm will scared. But love is beutiful and shouldn't be descriminant.

So I have an odd request, could you note me the thumbnail for this? I can copy paste it on my iPod and I currently have no computer access. I wanna put it on my profile page. if that's ok

I can also understand being frightened...moving to a very Christian place after you decide 'oh hey, I'm a lesbian' can do that to you, especially when many are extreme Christians but...for now I would suggest only coming out to those whom you truly trust. Those who you can look at and say, "I know these guys won't harm me for it...and I know they won't tell everyone I'm bi if I don't wish for it."
