Before the complaints, let's put this right at the beginning this time: I, like many people, have a fetish. Actually multiple ones. One of them is actually the most common sexually-charged fetish out there (or at least one of them) and it's also one of the ones that people place onto their top ten lists of ones that they shake their heads at.

If they start bawling directly at myself/someone else for how much of a sick twisted being I am/someone else is for having it, there might be a slight problem because...holy hell, everyone is going to have something different that will get them off. Get over it.

But, at the same time, if they simply don't support the fetish and that's the end of that tale...then so what?

If someone shouldn't give a shift about the people who have a fetish, then the people who do have them shouldn't give a shit if someone just doesn't really like it themselves.

As they shouldn't try to force someone out of what they like, one shouldn't try to force them into liking it...and act like everyone who doesn't like it is immediately out to get them. Because they aren't. They really aren't; unless you're causing a stir of drama over it.

:N I think you might know who are you are.

Current thoughts on this

I do feel that it gets bad on both sides, there's probably going to be a number of people who disagree with this for incorrect reasons. But it's inevitable because any group, no matter how small, is going to attract unreasonable and irrational people like a magnet.

But the main problem I have with the "anti fetish" people, aside with getting the terms sexual fantasy and sexual attraction incorrectly on a constant bases, is that they treat any sort of fetish related work as if it's some sort of pornography. Kind of those "OMG, PEOPLE FAP TO IT!? GROSS, NOT ALLOWED ON DA!" I just ask those people, what if you didn't know people got turned on by getting eaten alive? What if you didn't know that there's a good chunk of people who find the idea of transforming into another species arousing? Would you view the same imagery the same way or would you more properly critique the work and appreciate it as artwork? Because really, that's what work like that is. It's an expressing of one's mind and thought on paper and the idea of it being a fetish is irrelevant to whether you're liking what you're seeing, dislike what you're seeing, or in middle ground.

Also, am I the only one tired of seeing the word "gross" used to describe every fetish in existence!? I know people have more emotions then repulsion.

Yeah, I do agree with what you said. I understand not everyone is going to like everything I like, but that's even outside fetish related material (not everyone is going to like Pokemon either, duh) As long as they're not trying to be a dick about it.

On a side note, I really just love it when certain people ask "How do people find X sexy" then after I give them a definition of a sexual fantasy, they overreact and block out what I said. Heh heh, proving me correct when I say people go after fetishes because their an easy target.

Full agreement. Do you KNOW how many kinks/fetishes exist in the world?

The list gets higher every day, so almost anything can turn someone on in the world.

People are entitled to their own opinions. If you don't like the stamp, why'd you click on it in the first place?

She add this stamp in her profile as a "hate" stamp. I wanted to tell her to ignore it because most stamp are nothing against her (Except the stamp of her, but she really needs to ignore it.), but she blocked me.

Almost like she takes it too seriously and it shows that she's giving a reaction.
